Six Degrees: Round Three

Remember kids, challenges are not only welcomed, but encouraged and should be e-mailed to me or left in a comment. This means if you would like to see this feature appear regularly, then you should challenge me often.

A challenger appears! This morning in my inbox there was a challenge from BoyHowdy (AKA Cover Lay Down): Pete Seeger to KISS with bonus points given if I don't use Springsteen. Here we go, kiddies!

Pete Seeger was one of Bob Dylan's earliest supporters, and at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival (which he was the MC of) wanted to disconnect Dylan's electric guitar. Bob Dylan has influenced many artists over the years, and some of these artists pay tribute by covering his songs. Billy Joel, being no exception, covered Dylan's "The Times They Are A-Changin'" on his 1987 album Концерт. Billy Joel, being a native New Yorker, was inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame on October 15, 2006 along with Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, and Peter Criss. The latter three of which are in the band KISS.

5 Degrees: Pete Seeger -> Bob Dylan -> Billy Joel -> Gene Simmons -> KISS

Pete Seeger -- Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything There Is A Season)

Bob Dylan -- Maggie's Farm

Billy Joel -- The Times They Are A-Changin' (Bob Dylan cover)

KISS -- Forever
