Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts, don’t put up with people who are reckless with yours

Ok, I know what you're thinking: bitch again disappears on us, and then is posting about Baz Luhrmann's Australia on her music blog. Yes, but I tell you: there is a segway. Luhrmann, not only responsible for directing some kick-ass movies, put out a kick ass song a few years back (OK, more like 10ish), a song that is probably one of my all-time favourites: "Everybody's Free (to Wear Sunscreen)."

Originally appearing as a column in the Chicago Tribune as "Advice, like youth, probably just wasted on the young" written by Mary Schmich, became a hit when directorial genius, Baz Luhrmann set the column to music. Packed with indispensable "ramblings" and remixed against Quindon Tarver's "Everybody's Free (To Feel Good)," one can't help but feel sunshine when they hear it. Also, the advice dispensed throughout isn't half bad.

Baz Luhrmann -- Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)

Sidebar: Not music related, but consider this something like a small game of Six Degrees, Baz Luhrmann put out "Everyboy's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)" and he also has directed movies, like the upcoming Australia. Hot teaser trailer for Luhrmann's upcoming epic: Australia

Two more posts 'til my 100th--HUZZAH!
